Does the AI get my FTP password?
No. The password stays encrypted inside ArtiFTP. The agent only gets an approved session.
Which AI agents work with it?
It’s built for agents like Grok and Cursor, and anything that can use a connector.
Which hosts does it support?
Anything with standard SFTP or FTP, including GoDaddy and most cPanel hosts.
Can the agent delete my whole site?
Only if you allow delete for that folder, or turn on an away window, which approves actions your rules would normally refuse. By default it can’t. Folder by folder, you choose whether agents can list, read, write or delete.
What if the agent needs to do something my rules don’t allow?
It’s refused and told why, unless you’ve turned on an away window. For a one-off exception, the agent sends a new request and you switch on Allow once when you approve it. It works one time only.
What if I approve by mistake?
Revoke the session and it locks instantly. The Activity screen shows exactly what happened.
Do I need to be at my computer?
No. Approve from the link in your email on your phone, or in the ArtiFTP app, which works on your phone too.
